Eating Free Values

Respectful Support for Food & Body-Image Challenges

The Eating Free coaching programme is grounded in ten core values that support and guide every step of your journey with us.

These values underpin Eating Free’s coaching sessions during which which you will know that you are in a safe, non-judgmental space.

We believe everyone deserves support that protects their dignity and honours their lived experience.

Our Values also remind you that, whenever you seek medical care, you have the right to be treated with respect by every doctor, nurse, or healthcare professional you meet.

Eating Free’s Values to Empower You

You should never feel alone in your struggle with food, eating or your weight.

You should never feel shamed or stigmatised because of your diabetes.

You should never feel shamed or stigmatised because of your eating disorder.

You should never feel shamed or judged or about your body.

Your body is worthy of respect – by yourself and others.

You deserve medical care delivered with respect, without judgement and free from shame.

Getting over your eating difficulties is possible. Eating disorder recovery is possible.

Describing foods or what you eat as good, bad or naughty by you or by anyone else – does not help you.

You can heal your relationship with food and your body.

You can learn to Eat Free and Love Your Life.
